| MUSA PUBLIC LIBRARY PROJECT | |
Great New Development on the MUSA Public Library Project We were thrilled to receive the great news from the Mayor's Office that the Municipal Government of Mamburao has a change of heart on the site provision for the much anticipated MUSA Public Library, a real momentous and lasting legacy that our organization could proudly provide to our dear townspeople. The temporary plan to accommodate and jump start this project in the other half of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office has been dropped and now a new plan to build its own building has been developed. According to the Municipal Engineer, Ariel Cortuna, the proposed building will be established besides the Mamburao Gymnasium, adjacent to the Town Plaza stage, an ideal and conducive location. All of us here at MUSA are most grateful for the cooperation and generous commitment of the Municipal Government of Mamburao that will enable us to push through with this project and allow us to impact the lives of our people by our programs and make a difference in the Mamburao community. A copy of the specifications with the engineer's dimensional drawings and other descriptive information about the site plans, floor plans and chart describing the cost of the project has recently been forwarded by the Mayor's Office to our MUSA office.

Dear Chairman Calabio:
Warm greetings to all Mamburenos!
This has reference to your proposal to establish a library here in Mamburao. We are glad to inform you that we are in deep gratitude for considering such a helpful project.
The Municipal government of Mamburao has available temporary space to accommodate the immediate need to establish said library. We have this one building which our Municipal Social Welfare & Development Office is occupying. Said building was really intended for a Public Library so we can use half of the building to put up the library.
At this moment, we cannot, however, accommodate to construct a separate building for the library due to budgetary requirement. But rest assured that we will appropriate funds for that. Further, it may not be possible to construct a library adjacent to the existing municipal building, since our building will be renovated/reconstructed. But we have already identified an area inside the compound that is more conducive for a library.
In behalf of our people, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude for extending your program here in our town. It is truly beneficial to all.
Best regards to all Mamburenos.
Very truly yours,
(Signed) ALAN T. AQUINO Municipal Mayor |
